Is medical equipment calibration the same as calibration?
No. Calibration focuses on measured output or accuracy. Calibration is broader and can include inspection, functional checks, accessories, controls, safety testing, calibration measurements and final documented status.
What equipment can Wabel Medical calibrate?

Will we receive a calibration report?
Yes. The Calibration Certificate can include equipment identification, inspection findings, tests completed, measured values, calibration status and recommended follow-up.
Is a Calibration Certificate included?
Yes. When applicable calibration measurements are completed, a Calibration Certificate can be provided with documented results and equipment identification.
Can electrical safety testing be included?
Yes. Electrical safety testing can be coordinated when requested and applicable to the device.
How often should equipment be calibrated?
Many facilities use annual calibration, while six-month intervals may be appropriate for heavily used equipment, higher-risk devices, internal quality programs or units with previous performance concerns.
Can several devices be calibrated during one visit?
Yes. Multiple devices and service types can be coordinated during one on-site visit to reduce disruption and simplify documentation.

Yes. Testing can include channel operation, output verification, controls, leads and accessory inspection, depending on the device and available specifications.
Do you calibrate combination therapy equipment?
Yes. Ultrasound and electrotherapy functions can be evaluated as an integrated modality when the model and requested service are supported.
Do you calibrate shockwave equipment?
Wabel Medical supports selected shockwave systems and handpieces. Available medical equipment calibration, performance verification, calibration or repair depends on the model and required service scope.
Do you calibrate therapeutic laser devices?
Selected therapeutic laser systems may receive optical output verification and functional inspection when suitable measurement methods and specifications are available.
Do you calibrate hydrocollators?
Yes. Applicable service may include temperature verification, thermostat function, general condition, power cord inspection and operational checks.
Do you calibrate paraffin wax baths?
Yes. Temperature and functional verification can help confirm that the unit operates consistently within the expected working range.
What happens if a device does not meet the acceptance criteria?
The finding is documented and communicated to the clinic. Depending on the issue, the next step may be adjustment, repair, manufacturer support, restricted use, replacement or further evaluation.
How long does a medical equipment calibration visit take?
